Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme held over at Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is: Top Ten Authors I’ve Read The Most Books From.

1) Richelle Mead: I have read a total of 12 books by her, the 6 books of the Vampire Academy series and the 6 books of the Bloodline series.

2) Rick Riordan: I have read 10 books by him, the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus series.

3) Cassandra Clare: I have read 9 books by her and 8 short stories. I read The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices series. I also read three of The Bane Chronicles: What Happened in Peru, The Course of True Love, and What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything. Lastly, I read the first 5 stories from Tales from the shadowhunter Academy.

4) J.K Rowling: I read the 7 Harry Potter books. I have never felt inclined to read the other books in the Harry Potter universe, and I have never felt like reading her other books either.

5) Abbie Glines: I have read 7 books by her. I read 4 of the books in the Sea Breeze series, 2 books in The Vincent Boys series, and the first book in the Too Far series.

6) Jennifer Estep: I read the 6 books in the Mythos Academy series and one of the prequels.

7) Stephenie Meyer: A long, long time ago, I read the 4 Twilight books, and The Host.

8) Colleen Hoover: I have read 4 books by her and 1 novella. I read Slammed, Ugly Love, Maybe Someday, Confess, and Maybe Not.

For 9 y 10 place, I have a tie because I have read 4 book of each of the next 6 authors.

Becca Fitzpatrick: I read the 4 books in the Hush Hush series.

  1. Richelle Mead, Cassandra Clare, J.K. Rowling, and Sarah J. Maas are BAE. I love them all so much!! Awesome list 🙂 Did you like the Vincent Boy's series? I've wanted to read those for awhile.

  2. So wild how most of these authors could've been on my list, especially if I had stuck to more recent times. However, over my lifetime, my TTT is sort of lopsided in favor of more prolific writers rather than especial brilliant authors who might write less. This was a hard top ten for me to figure out just how to decide how to qualify why certain authors made it on the list.

  3. Ooh, nice list! I've JUST started the Vampire Academy series – only read one book so far but it was a lot of fun and I'm wondering why I waited so long. I've read The Infernal Devices series and the Bane Chronicles stories. Getting ready to start City of Bones, hopefully soon. I need to finish the Harry Potter series as I've only got one book left. (I KNOW, so far behind everyone else, I am.) And Marissa Meyer…I kind of love The Lunar Chronicles and am beyond excited that Winter gets released in just a few more months!
