This are a few books that have been on my tbr for a while and that I want to read before 2018 ends. Here they are:
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
This is the book that has been on my Goodreads tbr shelf for the longest time, I have heard great things and I think it’s finally time to read it.
1984 by George Orwell
I tried to read this once, I read the first few pages and decided that I wasn’t in the mood to read it. BUT since then I bought a copy of the book (before it was a library book) and my boyfriend read it before I did, he really liked it and I promised that I would read it so we can discuss it. This needs to happen really soon!
The Diviners by Libba Bray
This book has been on my tbr for a while and recently I found out that this has some diverse characters which has made me even more excited to read it. Also, I recently bought my own copy and that another incentive to read it.
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
I have heard nothing but great things about it from EVERYONE! I actually don’t know much about this but from what I have heard has me interested and intrigued.
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
I’m a big fan of the shadowhunters book, I have read all of them and I actually really liked the first book in this new trilogy, Lady Midnight, so I’m not sure why I haven’t read this. I think itt may be that I have heard so many great things about it that I’m scared of not liking it as much as everyone else.
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
This needs to happen like NOW. I know I’m gonna love it, I actually read the first few pages and really enjoyed them, so I don’t know what my excuse is. I hope to read this before January ends.
The Abyss Surrounds Us by Emily Skrutskie
This sounds amazing, a Sci-fi book with pirates, genetically-engineered beasts and a female/female romance. Also, I have heard nothing but good things. WHAT AM I WATING FOR YOU MAY ASK? DON’T LOOK AT ME, CUZ I DON’T KNOW!
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
It’s time! I need to read an Adam Silvera book, it needs to happen in 2018. I haven’t read any of his books because I have heard they are extremely heartbreaking and I almost never read sad book, it’s just not my thing. BUT I do want to read Adam’s books, so I will this one in 2018 because it sounds really interesting.
Have you read any of this books? Did you like them? What books do you want to read in 2018?
