Most Anticipated Book Releases – April 2018

Most anticipated book releases 2018

I have been having a lot of fun making this kind of post of my most anticipated releases each month. I’m trying to actually read the books I say I’m anticipating and I haven’t been doing a good job at it,  but I’m working on it!

Here are the april book releases that I’m anticipating the most:

The Summer of Jordi Perez (and the best burger in Los Angeles) by  Amy Spalding

I have been waiting for this book for so long and it’s almost time to have it on my hands, I’m so excited! This book has lesbian, fat and latinx representation, and it involves fashion, photography and food. It sounds like such a fun read.

Now a Major Motion Picture by Cori McCarthy

This book involves the fandom of a fantasy book series, the set of the movie adaptation of that series and a romance. It seems like it deals with complicated family relationships and new friendships. I love all of those things, so I hope to love this one. Also, the cover is amazing.

Starry Eyes  by Jenn Bennett

This is a story of friends to enemies to lovers and there’s a romeo + juliet element to it? I WANT IT! Also, I have heard that this is very sex positive, it has present parents for both of the main characters and it has sweet swoons and kissing. I’m excited!

Release Date: April 3rd 2018

Isle of Blood and Stone by Makiia Lucier

This books is about three main characters, a mapmaker,a king and the king’s cousin, who are working to solve the mystery behind the disapearence of two princes in a fantasy world.  I don’t know much more about this book, but I’m really intrigued and can’t wait to read it.
