Anticipated Book Releases of December 2018

I have written a post about my most anticipated releases for each month this year, I would like to say I have read at least half of the books I put on those lists, BUT I HAVE NOT 😭 My tbr is out of control! Please send help!

Anyway, here are three more books that I’m highly anticipating and that I hope to read before the year is over:

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare 

This is the third and final book in The Dark Artifices series, which follows the Shadowhunters of the Los Angeles Institute as dark secrets and forbidden love threatens their very survival.

I’m currently reading Lord of Shadows so I can be ready to read this book as soon as it comes out.  I waited so long to read Lord of Shadows so I didn’t have to wait too long to know how the story ends, but now it’s finally time to find out!

Release Date: December 4th

Tangled Like Us by Krista & Becca Ritchie 

This is the fourth book in the Like Us series, which follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the bodyguards that protect them. The Like Us series is connected to two other series by these authors, so it’s actually the 14th book that revolves around the same family.

I have LOVED and reread the other 13th books a few times, so I can’t wait to know how the story of this family continues. Also, this is the first book told form Jane and Thatcher’s perspectives and I’m so excited!

Release Date: December 18th 

The Disasters by M.K. England

Nax Hall gets kicked out of an elite Academy, but when a terrorist group attacks, Nax and three other washouts escape and become the sole witnesses and the perfect scapegoats. On the run and framed for atrocities they didn’t commit, Nax and the others execute a dangerous heist to spread the truth about what happened at the Academy.

I LOVE books about heists that take place in space, so this sounded right up my alley. I only know one person that has read this book and they loved it, so I’m excited to give it a chance. Also, the main characters is biracial and bisexual and that makes me even more excited to read this.
